Our Story
We wanted you to all know a little about how our cattle company started. Los Pinos Cattle Company is a family owned and operated business, that has recently grown due to the ambition and newly found knowledge of the family. Our family has been raising and selling commercial cattle for the past 20+ years, starting with a humble beginning back in Mexico. Our current operation started with one location, Rancho Los Pinos, selling commercial cattle in local auctions. In the year 2000 we started our registered Brahman herd. Today, we have grown to an 8 ranch operation upwards of 4,000 acres thanks to the hard work and dedication of our founder that has followed his dream of owning and breeding superior cattle. Our company is now focusing on not only Brahman cattle, but also Brangus and Charolais registered herds. With two kids graduated from college (Sam Houston State and St. Edwards) and the youngest just leaving to Texas A&M in the fall we have a promising future ahead of us. One of the three has a degree in Animal Science with a minor in Ag Business, and the youngest is pursuing a degree in Aggieland in the agriculture industry as well. We can't wait to continue growing our story along side our satisfied customers!
